Bring a Healing Experience to Your Community

A culturally grounded, trauma informed circle designed to strengthen families, restore connection, and support emotional wellbeing across generations in the African diaspora.

Trusted by communities, leaders, and families committed to healing and legacy.

Who is this for?

This experience is thoughtfully designed for organizations and communities that serve:

  • African diaspora families and communities
  • Immigrant and multicultural communities
  • Youth and student groups
  • Couples and relationship focused spaces
  • Faith based and cultural institutions
  • Community leaders and business owners carrying responsibility for others

If your work involves people, relationships, and community wellbeing, this experience is for you.

The Healing Family Wounds Circle Experience

We bring a structured, facilitated experience that allows participants to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and one another.

Each experience includes:

  • A guided grounding moment to regulate stress and create emotional safety
  • ROOTED™ reflection exercises that help participants understand patterns and reconnect with self
  • Facilitated small group conversations with clear safety and respect guidelines
  • A teaching moment that translates emotional insight into practical relational skills
  • A closing integration that restores clarity, dignity, and forward movement

This is not a lecture.
It is a lived, shared experience.

Why Communities Are Saying Yes to This Work

Across our communities, many are carrying:

  • The pressure to succeed while holding entire families together
  • The emotional weight of migration, responsibility, and leadership
  • Unspoken intergenerational patterns that continue without language or support
  • Burnout that is rarely acknowledged in spaces of strength

 This experience creates space to:

  • Pause without losing momentum
  • Reflect without judgment
  • Reconnect without shame
  • Strengthen relationships across generations

When families heal, communities heal.
Love is a practice.

About Healing Family Wounds

Healing Family Wounds is a community based healing platform and biannual magazine rooted in the lived experiences of African families across the diaspora.

Founded by Gladys Beri, a trauma informed systemic practitioner and PhD candidate in Organization and Management with a focus on executive coaching, this work bridges clinical insight, cultural understanding, and relational leadership.

Through the ROOTED™ Framework, we support individuals, couples, and families in breaking intergenerational patterns and building emotionally healthy relationships that last.

This work is not about pathologizing families.

It is about understanding them and strengthening them.

What Participants Experience

Participants often leave with:

  • A deeper understanding of themselves and their relational patterns
  • Language for emotions that were previously unspoken
  • A renewed sense of connection with others
  • Practical tools they can apply immediately in their lives and families

“This experience gave language to things I have carried for years. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to myself and my family.”
